What is a .ics file?
An .ics file is a calendar invitation or a whole calendar, in a format every calendar app understands.
This extension has been used by more than one format

How to open a .ics file

- MacCalendar — double-click and it offers to add the event

- Open it in GIMP or XnView and export as .png (lossless) or .jpg (smaller).
